Description
The QAM Modulator is an essential device performing channel coding and deploying broadband or broadcast cable networks. The HSD100 is a cost-effective digital cable television modulator providing 64 or 256QAM signal in 54 to 860MHz frequency range.
Integrated re-multiplexer models and multi-QAM models are also available very soon.
Features
- Supports OpenCable standard
The HSD100 is a digital cable television modulator which fully complies with the
OpenCable standard and meets with the relevant specifications perfectly.
- 64/256 QAM Modulation
The HSD100 supports both 64QAM and 256QAM mode which OpenCable requires in 6
MHz channel bandwidth at the bit rate of 26.97Mbps and 38.8Mbps respectively.
- Stand-alone operation and versaile options
The HSD100 is a stand-alone modulator allowing independent operation, which isolates
failures and troubles from the other system components and enabling easy back-up.
Several models such as multi-QAM modulator, integrated re-multiplexer model and GbE
interface model, etc. are available.
- - Convenient operation
The HSD100 is easily tuneable to any channel frequency of 50 to 860 MHz band.
Also it provides CW(Continuous Wave) mode and PRBS(Pseudo Random Binary Sequence)
mode for convenient test and maintenance. The modulator can easily be controlled and
managed via Telnet and Windows GUI access.

The HSD100 is designed and fabricated by the professional technologies of more than
10 years of experience in broadcasting industry. It is stable and highly reliable.
